HARRIS 99T
Commercially pure nickel GTAW (TIG) alloy for cast iron

Procedure:
  • DC straight polarity
  • Argon shielding gas
  • Clean and bevel weld area as necessary
  • Run short stringer beads
  • Intermittent or back-step welding
  • No preheat on thin sections
  • Preheat 400ºF on heavier sections
  • Slow cool

    Features:
  • Tensile strength - Up to 50,000 psi
  • Close color match
  • Excellent machinability
  • Smooth, even bead contour
  • Clean, strong, ductile deposits
