HOW TO SELECT A REGULATOR
Selecting the proper regulator for your application is easy when you follow these three simple steps:
1. Choose the gas service and source: The service and source of the gas will indicate what type of inlet is needed. Examples of gas sources could be high pressure cylinders, low pressure cylinders, liquid cylinders, and bulk tanks.
2. Determine the required delivery pressure: For oxy-fuel cutting required pressure of the fuel gas is 0-1,5 bar and Oxygen pressure is 0-10 bar. For oxy-fuel heating required pressure of Acetylene is 0-1,5 bar, alternate fuel pressure is 0-3,5 bar and Oxygen pressure is 0-10 bar.
3. Choose single stage or two stage: Single stage regulators are what is needed for most industrial applications. Choose two stage regulators when a more consistent delivery pressure is needed over the life of a cylinder and situations where proper pressure is critical and the cylinders in use are in a remote or difficult monitor location.
