DETAILS
Safety-Silv 50NCW flux-cored silver brazing alloy is a good replacement for the 3% nickel, cadmium bearing (AWS BAg3) alloys. It is especially helpful where low brazing temperature must be maintained. It can be used to braze tungsten carbide, stainless steel, as well as other steel, copper and nickel alloys.
Features
- Cadmium-free brazing alloy is good replacement for cadmium-bearing alloys
- The 2% nickel addition improves wetting and strength
- Low melting braze alloy with good flow
- Exhibits improved corrosion resistance on stainless steel compared to other silver braze alloy deposits
- Engineered for brazing copper, brass, steel, nickel alloys, and stainless steel
- Frequently used to braze tungsten carbide to steel and tool steel for cutting tips, drill bits, and saw blades
- Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive
- Made in the USA
- Flux inner core means no manual flux application is required providing significant cost savings
