Model 1390 is a separable welding/brazing or heating tip for use with acetylene. These tips are manufactured using environmentally-friendly tellurium copper. They have excellent machining properties resulting in a higher quality tip. The tips are precision drilled and swaged for more precise and consistent flames. The tips are stable over an extremely broad BTU range, thus one tip size can be used over a very wide range of joint sizes. Model 1390 tips use an universal mixer for sizes 0-10 eliminating the expense of using a different mixer for every tip size. The tip has a metal-to-metal contact seat virtually eliminating the possibility of leaks and the need for thread sealants.
