Silver-bearing tin-copper-silver lead-free plumbing solder has a wide melting range that allows it to "bridge" larger gaps. It is excellent for capping solder connections. Silver-bearing lead-free solder complies with ASTM B32 Alloy Grade C and Meets NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water System Components - health effects and NSF/ANSI Standard 372 for drinking water system components - lead content & US Safe Drinking Water Act amendments.
