Safety-Silv® 30 Flux-Coated Brazing Alloy

30F3184

Safety-Silv® 30 flux-coated high silver brazing alloy 1/16 x 18 in. x 1 ea. 9-stick tube

Détails

Safety-Silv® 30 high silver brazing filler metal is primarily designed for brazing copper, brass, and steel. This alloy has a wider melting range that allows it to be used where part clearance cannot be tightly controlled. Safety-Silv 30 is often selected as a lower cost, cadmium free, replacement for higher silver content alloys. Safety-Silv 30 should be heated at a rapid rate through its melting range to avoid liquation. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.

Traits

  • Economical, cadmium-free, replacement for higher silver content alloys
  • Moderate ductility and slightly higher melting temperature than alloys containing higher percentages of silver and/or tin
  • Wide melting range
  • Good flow properties and excellent fillet forming qualities
  • Fills connections where tight clearance cannot be maintained
  • Designed to braze copper, brass and steel
  • Complies with the EU RoHS directive
