REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals)
REACH (European Union (EU) regulation (EC 1907/2006)) involves the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemical substances contained in products produced or imported into the EU. The REACH regulation aims to improve the protection of human health and the environment through early identification and use of listed chemical substances.
REACH- Communication of Information on Substances in Articles:
Declarations are to be provided in accordance with Article 33.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 – REACH if a product placed on the European market by the Lincoln Electric Company contains substances included in the “Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) for Authorisation" in concentrations more than 0,1% (0.1%) w/w. REACH – Substances or Mixtures:
The Lincoln Electric Company maintains an inventory of consumable product substances and mixtures produced or imported into the EU. These components have been registered in the EU within the compliance requirements of REACH.
