308L Stainless steel GMAW (MIG) welding alloy has similar usage as 308, but the 0.03% maximum carbon content increases resistance to intergranular corrosion. Conforms to AWS A5.9. Most frequently used for welding base metals of similar composition. Conveniently packaged for point-of-purchase display.
