DETAILS
97/3 lead-free rosin core tin-copper solder is formulated for electrical and electronic applications where corrosive flux residue must be avoided. This solder contains a non-corrosive inner core of flux so separate flux application is unnecessary. It is primarily used for soldering copper wire in electrical connections. It has a low melting point and narrow melting range to reduce heating time with a melting temperature of 445°F. 97/3 rosin core solder is lead and antimony free. It is often used for speaker wires, motors, generators and appliance repairs, as well as general electronic repairs.
