DETAILS
40/60 tin-lead rosin core solder contains a 2.2% rosin core center. It is a popular choice for soldering electrical and electronic connections. Generally, rosin core solders are used for small connections, as there is a limited amount of flux available for protection of large surface areas. Heat sources include soldering guns, irons, and air-fuel torches. Lead bearing solders are not to be used in potable water system applications.
