Aluminum Bronze A2 GMAW (MIG) Welding Alloy

Aluminum bronze A2 GMAW (MIG) versatile filler metal is used for joining aluminum bronze base metals, welding brass, steel and a variety of dissimilar metal applications. It is often used to protect parts exposed to salt water and certain acidic conditions. Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.7 & ASME SFA 5.7 ERCuAl-A2.

• This strong and tough alloy provides exceptional corrosion and wear resistance
• Preheat is generally not required unless welding high copper content base metals
• Typical applications are overlays on shafts, propellers, housings, couplings, bushings, valve seats and pumps
• Use with 100% Argon or 25%/75% Argon/Helium shielding gas mixture
• Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.7 & ASME SFA 5.7 ERCuAl-A2.
